Reach The Poor (REP) is a non-profit autonomous non-government organization (NGO) located in Kisanga village, Nyamwabwa Sub County, Kasese district, Rwenzori region in Western Uganda. Reach The Poor (REP) started in 2003 after realizing that children, women and youth form the greatest percentage of the community affected by poverty, HIV/AIDS, human rights violation, poor healthcare and ignorance. This organization was formed to offer spiritual growth and help to the children and poor women through advocating for their economic emancipation and respect for human dignity, children well-being and thereby improving their living standards by providing appropriate technologies, training and render support services to enable them become self-reliant.
We are reaching many of our goals to deprived, marginalized and disadvantaged communities, and we are taking the lessons we have learned over the past years to initiate new projects to help achieve grass-root community driven sustainable development goals in areas of our operation.
